Net Impact
The Lede Social Impact division is seeking a Senior Account Executive (SAE). The ideal candidate is passionate about social impact, sustainability, and building and supporting purpose-driven brands, organizations, and initiatives, coupled with an understanding of the modern communications landscape and an ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support account workflows and processes for clients and for the division, helping to ensure all deliverables are completed on-time and according to the brief provided.
Support the development of social impact strategy, message development, campaign design, issue research, earned media, thought leadership, analysis and reporting efforts.
Conceptualize, design and manage internal and external issue-focused communications tools, strategies, briefings and resources for teams, clients or partners.
Develop communications, programs, event or activation strategies to support client social impact goals.
Develop “issue briefs” on current events and work with senior team members to provide clients with counsel on how to navigate the current political landscape.
Work on multiple accounts simultaneously and under deadline.
Support strategic planning, business development and overall department operations.
Support The Lede Company’s internal CSR and social impact work.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in public relations, communications, brand or social impact strategy roles.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful brand and social impact strategies and communication campaigns.
Excellent writing skills. Whether writing an official press release, an awards submission, or casual email, you can tailor your writing style to deliver information accurately and effectively.
Ability to multi-task and balance multiple clients. When everyone thinks their time and work is the most important, you understand how to balance competing requests and keep everyone happy.
Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
Relationships with members of the media, particularly top-tier and trade outlets and media reporters, is a plus.
A team-oriented attitude. You understand that it’s about the team’s success and not just getting the credit for your work. You are willing to step out of your comfort zone so that the team can succeed.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, MuckRack, and Cision.
ADDITIONAL
Hybrid position. Minimum three days a week in-office is required
Some evening and weekend work may be required
Some client travel may also be required
