About the role NorthSight Recovery is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Senior Accountant
to support the CFO in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. This key role oversees daily accounting activities, prepares financial reports, manages audits, and contributes to strategic financial planning and analysis. The Senior Accountant will help maintain robust internal controls and support the organization’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and month/year-end closings.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and grant reporting processes.
Liaise with auditors and ensure GAAP and compliance standards are met.
Partner with department leaders to deliver financial insights and process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred).
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in nonprofit or healthcare.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, advanced Excel skills, and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite).
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Environment Position based in Tempe, AZ office.
