Pay Information $2,593 per week
About The Position Weekly Pay # - Physical Therapist (PT) at Oregon Care Center, MO
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents physical abilities, including mobility, balance, strength, and gait. - Develop and implement individualized, person-centered treatment plans to improve physical function, reduce pain, and prevent disability. - Deliver direct therapy interventions such as therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance retraining, and use of physical modalities. - Monitor and document residents progress, adjusting care plans as needed to achieve therapy goals. - Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and support discharge planning. - Educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies. - Supervise and guide Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and therapy aides per licensure requirements. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and billing. - Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility standards and regulations. - Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within the rehab team. - Work in a skilled nursing facility/long-term care setting, often requiring standing, bending, lifting, and assisting with resident mobility. - Collaborate with a fast-paced, team-oriented rehabilitation environment.
