About The Position About the Position Position/Specialty: Float MRI Tech Daily Caseload per tech: varies: Inpatient, ER, and Outpatient Shift: Will work 3x12hrs 7p-730a Friday, Saturday, Sunday Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Yes, to other buildings on campus Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year minimum First Timers Accepted: Yes Cert/Lic REQ: BLS, MR (ARRT) Certification/Licenses accepted: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Pending State License accepted: N/A Experience REQ: Siemens experience Experience Pref: Peds Experience and Level 1 Trauma Experience Radiation Badge: NOT REQUIRED Misc. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager/units needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma: Magnet, Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 865 Scrub Color: Teal top, black bottom Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Nights and weekends cost only. Onetime payment of $20 for a parking pass. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
