Shift:

12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Weekend Requirement:

Every other weekend

PCU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or stepdown RN experience

Experience with neuro and trauma care preferred

Ability to float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed

PCU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in a 44-bed Progressive Care Unit

Perform neuro and spinal assessments, C-collar placement, and TLSO brace application

Assist with feeding tube placement and blood transfusions

Document patient care using Cerner EMR

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Ensure compliance with hospital and unit policies
