Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license (required for Illinois nursing jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or Intermediate Care Unit

Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission

Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit, monitoring and assessing patients with complex medical needs

Interpret and respond to telemetry data, promptly identifying changes in patient status

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed

Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations

Document all patient care activities accurately and timely
