NICU RN NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (within 50-mile radius) 2.5-3 years NICU experience required GTE, 12-Hr DAYS - every other weekend/major holiday required 1-2 call shifts per 6 weeks possible Unit Specific Details Level 3B NICU - babies 23 weeks Equipment: Medfusion pumps, PICC lines started by trained RNs, Umbilical lines, Intubation by trained transport nurses, Body cooling, Giraffe Shuttle which attaches to our Incubator to keep it warm and run a ventilator. Ratios are never guaranteed but what the unit attempts to achieve with normal staffing.
