13-week travel nursing contract

12-hour days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)

Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1,680 - $1,800 per week
Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend
Floating:
May float to MedSurg, Stepdown, COVID unit, and ER holding as needed
Dress Code:
All white or all navy blue, or white top with navy blue pants
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent stepdown or progressive care nursing experience
Telemetry experience (PCU nurse jobs)
Proficiency with titratable or cardiac IV medications (nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexible, positive attitude, and compassionate approach to patient care
Preferred: Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin) and relief charge experience
PCU Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to PCU patients, including those with CHF, MI, chest pain, arrhythmia, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, endocarditis, DKA, and post-cardiac procedures
Monitor and interpret telemetry and respond to cardiac events
Administer and titrate cardiac IV medications as ordered
Perform bedside procedures such as cardioversion
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including charge nurses, PCTs, and unit secretaries
Float to other units as needed to support patient care
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
Uphold unit guidelines and policies, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment
