Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse) Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico healthcare travelers Ability to float to other hospital units as needed

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in an inpatient hospital setting Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care instructions Float to other units and participate in on-call rotation as required
