About the Role As a Remote Dental Treatment Coordinator, you’ll be the voice patients hear after their consultation — following up, answering questions, clarifying costs or benefits, and helping them confidently say “yes” to recommended care.
You’ll work from home, using Codent’s platform to manage follow-ups for several partner practices. This role blends dental knowledge, communication skills, and patient-centric salesmanship.
Responsibilities Manage patient follow-up communication via text, email, and phone using Codent’s platform. Review clinical notes, patient communications, and treatment plans Thoroughly familiarize yourself with each patient's comprehensive treatment history Serve as a seamless extension of the dental office, professionally representing our company in all patient interactions Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting various treatment plans and clinical documentation Review treatment plans and insurance estimates to confidently discuss options and next steps. Track patient responses, schedule appointments, and record outcomes within our system. Collaborate with multiple dental practices to ensure consistent tone, brand, and workflow. Identify common patient objections and provide feedback to improve our AI assistant scripts. Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold patient confidentiality.
You’ll Excel If You Have 2+ years experience as a dental treatment coordinator, patient care coordinator, or front-office lead. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong grasp of dental procedures, treatment codes, and patient financing basics. Comfort using practice management systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) or CRM tools. Experience working remotely or across multiple office locations. Sales aptitude — able to guide patients from hesitation to commitment with empathy.
Bonus Points Prior experience in a virtual dental coordinator or teledentistry setting. Familiarity with AI or automated follow-up tools. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills. Licensed or certified dental background (not required but valued).
