Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT and X-ray experience, ARRT certifications, and a current CA license for an acute care setting. Responsibilities Work in an acute care setting within the CT/X-Ray department Night shifts, 8 hours per shift Caseload averages 10-20 scans per shift, with evenings being the busiest Equipment includes Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed scanners Care for ER patients and perform virtual colonography, gated procedures, and general CT scans Uses Cerner and McKesson PACS for charting Expected to float within Radiology as needed 3-4 shifts of unit-specific orientation Holiday shifts are scheduled as part of routine rotation Perform scans and procedures including virtual colonography and gated techniques as needed Team utilizes Nighthawk for overnight radiology coverage Teal scrubs required Radiologist is not in-house 24/7 during night shifts Returning employees must not have worked for any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility in the past year Requirements Minimum of 2 years' experience in CT and X-ray required Active CA Certified Radiologic Technologist license (license required if applicable) Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required Current BLS and Fluoroscopy certification required Experience with Siemens and GE CT scanners Experience using Cerner and PACS systems preferred Copy of driver’s license required for consideration Two references: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-633691.
