Travel Nursing Job Details

Location:

Nampa, Idaho (83687) – Idaho nursing jobs

Facility:

Women's Services LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) – 14 LDRP beds

Assignment Length:

13-week travel contract (10/25/2025 – 1/24/2026)

Shift:

12-hour night shifts (7:00pm – 7:00am), weekends as needed

Guaranteed Hours:

36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary:

$2310 - $2470

Floating:

May float to St. Luke's Treasure Valley locations (Meridian, Nampa, Boise) within L&D, Postpartum, Antepartum, or as a sitter

Orientation:

4 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Idaho or compact state)

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required (3 years preferred)

Mother-baby nursing experience preferred (at least 1 year preferred)

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE

Proven experience in attending deliveries, newborn care, triage, circulating C-sections, and postpartum couplet care

Proficiency with magnesium and titrating drips (Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin)

Ability to float to other units/sites as needed within the healthcare system

Compliance with hospital dress code (hospital-issued scrubs)

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (travel nursing requirement)

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to laboring patients, including high-risk obstetric cases (32+ weeks gestation, hypertension, TOLACs, gestational diabetes, etc.)

Assist with deliveries and C-sections (circulate and recover patients)

Perform triage assessments and staff triage beds as needed

Provide postpartum couplet care and stabilize newborns within the first hour of life

Titrate and manage IV drips per clinical protocols

Collaborate with OB hospitalists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, anesthesia, and resource RNs

Float to other St. Luke's Treasure Valley healthcare sites as required

Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records

Uphold infection control and patient safety standards, including adherence to no acrylic/gel nail policy
