We have an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Process Engineer / Manufacturing Project Coordinator in Canton, GA. This role is hands-on and focused on managing daily manufacturing operations, improving processes, and coordinating job execution across departments. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment. Experience with project coordination or job management in a production setting. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in CAD, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including engineering specifications, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Proficient in writing routine reports and professional correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate in group settings, presenting project-related issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong written communication skills to write clear, concise work instructions. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts, such as logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to perform complex calculations relevant to tasks like frequency distributions, variance analysis, and correlation techniques. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Proficient in interpreting technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handling multiple abstract and concrete variables. Job Details: Oversee and manage manufacturing jobs from initiation to completion. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure efficient workflow. Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards. Support troubleshooting and problem-solving on the shop floor. Ideal Candidate Technical Drawing and CAD Support: Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and models for parts and tooling using computer-assisted engineering software (e.g., CAD) to support quoting, production, and CNC machining.
