JOB SUMMARY
The Cybersecurity Training Analyst is a member of the Information Security team. This position leads the expansion and delivery of cybersecurity awareness and training programs across the organization. This position is critical in fostering a security-first culture by educating employees, students, and researchers on best practices, emerging threats, and compliance requirements.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs, develops, and delivers cybersecurity training programs tailored to various roles and departments
Maintains and updates training content to reflect evolving threats, technologies, and compliance standards
Tracks and reports on training participation, effectiveness, and risk reduction metrics
Conducts regular phishing simulations and analyze results to improve user awareness
Develops engaging content such as e-learning modules, videos, infographics, and newsletters
Serves as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity awareness and behavior change strategies
Stays current on cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices in user education
Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge of common cyber threats, social engineering, phishing, and security best practices

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, instructional design, information technology, or a related field
Three years of experience in cybersecurity awareness, training, or a related role
Experience conducting training or workshops on cybersecurity topic
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with phishing simulation platforms (e.g., Proofpoint, KnowBe4)
Experience with NIST or other security frameworks
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CSAP, or SANS Security Awareness Professional (SSAP)
Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., education, finance, healthcare)
