Radiology Technologist Job Details Location: Charleston, SC 29425 (South Carolina radiology jobs) Healthcare Setting: Teaching Hospital, Level 1 Trauma Center Unit: CHS Diagnostic Radiology (Main) Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/2/2026) Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 7:00pm – 7:30am) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,480 - $1,590 On-call: 3-4 days/month Orientation: First week may include day shifts for orientation Floating: May float to other buildings on the same campus Parking: Nights and weekends only; one-time $20 parking pass Radiology Technologist Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) Experience with O/C-Arm procedures required BLS certification (Basic Life Support) ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R) certifications (Registered Radiologic Technologist) Radiation badge (must be supplied by agency) Epic charting experience preferred Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) First-time travelers accepted; travel healthcare experience preferred Radiology Technologist Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for adult and geriatric patients Operate Siemens diagnostic imaging equipment and C-Arms Support bedside/portable radiology procedures and trauma imaging Float within scope to meet facility and clinical support needs Participate in call rotation and emergency response teams during hurricane season Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system Collaborate with interdisciplinary radiology and healthcare teams Adhere to safety protocols and infection control/isolation precautions Ready to take the next step in your radiology technologist career?
