HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Columbus, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/14/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Title: CT Technologist (CT Tech) Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30); every 3rd weekend (Friday & Saturday); call rotation approximately once every 6 weeks Job Responsibilities: Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal studies. Conduct specialized procedures such as brain perfusion and vascular CTA in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment. Prepare and administer IV contrast media in accordance with safety and compliance standards. Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout each exam. Utilize Siemens CT scanners and EPIC EMR for image acquisition, documentation, and patient tracking. Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and report findings or equipment issues as necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including radiologists, nurses, and emergency physicians, to ensure timely and accurate imaging services. Maintain cleanliness, calibration, and readiness of all imaging equipment. Participate in the department’s on-call rotation and provide coverage for emergent inpatient and ER cases. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent CT technologist experience in an acute care or trauma setting. Siemens CT scanner and EPIC charting system experience ( hard stop requirement ). Demonstrated ability to perform imaging in high-acuity environments such as the Emergency Department , ICU , and Level I Trauma Center . Strong technical skills in abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging. Proficient in IV contrast preparation and administration . Excellent communication, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities. Education & Certifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program . ARRT (R) – Required. ARRT (CT) – Preferred. BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required.
