Job Title: Experienced Dealership Mechanic ($18-$30 per hour)

Location: Montgomery

Pay Range: $18-$30 per hour

Position Overview

As an Automotive Technician, you will perform accurate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. You’ll work closely with service advisors and other technicians to deliver quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics using computerized scan tools and traditional methods
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, HVAC, and other components
• Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
• Work efficiently in a dealership service bay environment following manufacturer guidelines
• Document all repairs and maintenance in accordance with service standards
• Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle status and repair needs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with dealership policies

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience (dealership or high-volume shop preferred)
• Ase certification(s) strongly preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with scan tools, diagnostic software, and technical service bulletins
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and wiring diagrams
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to high-quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications

• Factory certifications from major manufacturers (Hyundai, Kia, Ford, GM, Toyota, etc.)
• Experience working directly in dealership service bays
• Knowledge of warranty repair processes and flat‑rate environments
