Working closely with a collaborative finance team, you’ll help strengthen financial operations, support decision‑making, and contribute to the organization’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll, maintain tracking schedules, and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Record deposits, review bank accounts for unposted transactions, reconcile cash receipts, and manage billing adjustments and write‑offs.
  • Enter invoices, obtain approvals, and prepare schedules for timely vendor payments.
  • Support client billings and collections, maintain time and billing databases, and generate monthly and year‑end reports.
  • Manage QuickBooks files across multiple entities, reconcile accounts monthly, and record journal entries for depreciation, amortization, and intercompany transactions.
  • Process inbound and outbound electronic fund transfers and record all related entries.
  • Prepare employee and partner expense reports, record semi‑monthly draw transactions, and maintain complete documentation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full‑charge bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or consulting.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks, Paylocity, and CCH Practice Management software.
  • Strong understanding of general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to collaborate and explain accounting details clearly.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data.
  • Notary Public certification preferred.
