COE-ERS Electrical Commissioning Engineer - Remote

Electrical Reliability Services (ERS) is seeking talented Electrical Building Commissioning Engineers to join our national Commissioning Group. ERS, a subsidiary of Vertiv, has over a decade of experience in commissioning mission-critical facilities and aims to expand its services globally. The role involves performing and managing field commissioning procedures for electrical systems in data centers and critical facilities, leading projects, and coordinating with other engineers. Candidates should be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of handling mentally demanding tasks. Responsibilities

Perform commissioning of electrical power distribution systems, including generators, UPS, switchgear, and control systems. Understand and interpret contract documents and sequences of operation. Develop and execute commissioning scripts and reports. Ensure safety and project schedule adherence. Maintain client relationships and provide project updates. Lead small to medium-sized commissioning projects and contribute to project management. Qualifications

Knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, LEED, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA. Experience with building electrical systems, switchgear, and power distribution. Strong communication, organization, and computer skills. Willingness to travel up to 50%, including international travel. Education & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical training with experience. Experience in at least 5-8 commissioning projects. Physical & Environmental Requirements

Ability to lift over 50 lbs, stand, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Additional Details
