Account Executive

About the job Advantra is partnering with a Series A AI marketing platform startup in San Francisco to hire an Account Executive to drive full-cycle sales and expand revenue across startups and mid-market accounts.
About the role You will own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You will run demos tailor solutions with product and engineering teams and provide feedback to improve the platform and sales processes. You will collaborate with a high-performing in-person sales team.
Responsibilities
Own and close full-cycle deals across startup and mid-market accounts.
Run high-quality product demos that clearly communicate value.
Prospect new leads and manage inbound opportunities.
Collaborate with product and engineering to customize solutions.
Help develop sales collateral processes and systems.
Provide feedback from prospects to inform product and marketing strategy.
Track and report sales metrics and pipeline activity.
Maintain deep knowledge of the product and competitive landscape.
Core requirements
Proven experience in B2B sales or account management.
Track record of exceeding sales quotas.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Ability to run demos and explain technical products clearly.
Comfort working in a high-intensity in-person environment.
Willingness to work 6 days per week and travel for client meetings.
Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn product deeply.
Experience managing startups or mid-market accounts.
Ability to provide actionable feedback to product and marketing teams.
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
Nice to have
Experience selling SaaS or AI-powered platforms.
Familiarity with inbound lead-driven sales models.
Startup experience or familiarity with fast-growing companies.
Knowledge of marketing automation or go-to-market workflows.
