Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

We are currently working with a rapidly growing transportation manufacturing company in their search for a Continuous Improvement & OpEx Manager to join the team and lead their company through the expansion. This role will report into the COO and will work at the 100+ employee plant. The Continuous Improvement and OpEx Manager is responsible for driving a culture of operational excellence across the manufacturing organization. This role leads strategic initiatives focused on improving productivity, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness through Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with a strong background in manufacturing operations and a passion for process optimization. Description

Lead and facilitate cross‑functional continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.

Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Partner with leadership and frontline teams to identify improvement opportunities and build a culture of continuous improvement.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process and quality issues.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact of improvement initiatives.

Train and mentor employees at all levels on Lean tools and techniques.

Support the deployment of Operational Excellence frameworks and standards across the organization.

Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and production teams to ensure alignment and sustainability of improvements.

Prepare and present reports on project status, ROI, and performance metrics to senior leadership.

Profile

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).

5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on continuous improvement or OpEx.

Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt required).

Proven track record of leading successful improvement initiatives with measurable results.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP system
