A well-established client is seeking a mid-level Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney to join its California team. The ideal candidate will be based in San Diego, Los Angeles, or San Francisco. This role is best suited for a legal professional with a minimum of 3-6 years of hands‑on experience handling PAGA claims and wage & hour matters under California law.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in single‑plaintiff employment litigation, including cases involving: Workplace discrimination, Harassment, Retaliation, Wrongful termination lawsuits
Handle class action and PAGA claims.
Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and motions; argue motions in court.
Take and defend depositions; conduct administrative hearings (preferred).
Provide day‑to‑day advice and counsel to employers on workplace issues.
Draft workplace policies and conduct employee training sessions.
Requirements
Active California Bar license in good standing.
Ability to work in a hybrid schedule: 3 days in‑office, 2 days remote.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
