*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced _Project Manager/Estimator_ to take full ownership of projects—from estimating and bidding to inspecting final installation and closeout. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with both field and office experience who thrives in a dynamic, small-business environment.
*Key Responsibilities: Estimating & Preconstruction:* * Review architectural drawings, specifications, and site conditions to prepare detailed estimates. * Conduct material take-offs and solicit vendor/subcontractor quotes. * Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals. * Collaborate with clients, general contractors, and architects during the pre-bid and bidding phases.
*Project Management:* * Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from award to completion. * Develop project schedules, manage budgets, and monitor progress. * Procure materials and ensure adherence to design and quality standards. * Conduct site visits and meetings to ensure work is progressing according to plan.
*Communication & Documentation:* * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors. * Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings. * Coordinate with shop personnel and installers to ensure timely and accurate fabrication and installation.
*Qualifications:* * 3+ years of experience in ornamental metal or structural steel estimating and/or project management. * Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. * Proficient in estimating software, Microsoft Office, and CAD or drafting tools (preferred). * Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small business setting. * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
*Preferred Skills:* * Familiarity with welding and fabrication processes. * Knowledge of local building codes and installation practices. * Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.
