Job Description An SAP S/4HANA CPI role focuses on integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP's Integration Suite, which includes Cloud Integration (CPI). Key responsibilities involve designing, developing, and managing integration solutions, writing code using protocols like REST and OData, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand and meet integration requirements. Essential skills include proficiency with SAP BTP, API management, and specific integration patterns, along with strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required Technical/Functional Skills

Experience in building integrations in both A2A and B2B scenarios using SAP PO, configuring File, IDoc, JDBC, RFC, HTTP, SFTP, JMS, REST, SFSF, AS2 adapters and SOAP.

Knowledge in various interfacing scenarios in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) – XML to IDocs /BAPI, File to IDocs/BAPI, HTTP to IDocs/BAPI, ABAP Proxy to JDBC.

Experience in building cloud integrations using SAP CPI.

Troubleshooting/Debugging experience and ability to provide/propose holistic solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

Create integration flows (iFlows) in SAP CPI, a part of the larger SAP Integration Suite, to connect cloud and on‑premise systems.

Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical integration specifications.

Develop and manage APIs through the SAP API Management tool, which is also part of the Integration Suite.

Identify, analyze, and resolve issues in integration flows and ensure best practices for performance and security.

Create clear documentation, architecture diagrams, and field mappings for all integrations to maintain a unified integration catalog.

Managerial / Soft Skills

Strong knowledge of SAP BTP Integration Suite, specifically Cloud Integration (CPI).

Experience with industry‑standard protocols like SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, JSON, and XML.

Familiarity with other tools within the Integration Suite, such as API Management and Open Connectors.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to handle complex technical challenges.

Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to both technical and business teams.

Proven experience in designing and implementing integration solutions, ideally in S/4HANA environments.

SAP Integration Suite or CPI certifications are highly valued.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 a Year
