Position Overview
We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to expand commercial growth across our analytical services portfolio, supporting biologics, cell & gene therapy, and small‑molecule programs. This role is critical in accelerating client programs across CMC, drug development, and regulatory pathways, leveraging global centers of excellence and world‑class quality systems (GMP/GLP/ISO).
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow strategic partnerships with biotech and pharmaceutical clients
Drive new business across analytical and CMC services for advanced therapeutics
Expand existing accounts and deliver value‑focused client solutions
Partner with scientific, operational, and leadership teams to shape high‑quality proposals
Lead client discussions, business reviews, and opportunity strategy
Represent the organization at industry conferences, meetings, and events
Track competitive intelligence and market trends
Support the development and execution of commercial growth strategy
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Analytical Chemistry, or related field)
5+ years sales or business development experience in a CRO/CDMO environment, preferably in analytical/CMC services
Proven success driving revenue growth in outsourced pharma services
Experience working with biotech and pharmaceutical accounts
Understanding of drug development and regulatory pathways, including BLA processes
Strong relationship‑building, communication, and strategic selling skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%)
Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting biologics or cell & gene therapy programs
Strong financial and commercial acumen
