Overview Maximize return on financial assets by establishing policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. Ensure accounting procedures conform to GAAP and all financial reporting is accurate and timely. Provide robust business partnering to plant and business unit leadership teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Lead all accounting and financial functions for the plant, including general accounting, cost accounting, account reconciliations, financial and operational reporting, internal controls, statements analysis, physical inventories, budgeting, and forecasting.
Partner with the Director of Operations and plant leadership to assess, devise ideas, conduct root‑cause analyses, develop counter‑measures, and drive accountability for results.
Perform treasury functions to maximize cash flow, leading AR/collections and improving DSO/DPO metrics.
Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies and procedures, ensuring Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to maintain inventory accuracy.
Recommend performance benchmarks, prepare accurate reports, and lead counter‑measure activities.
Align financial plans with organizational goals.
Analyze ventures, special projects, capital expenditures, product costing, and contract negotiations.
Manage internal and external audit processes.
Provide financial analysis, counsel, and recommendations to senior management.
Control capital planning, budgeting, and post‑mortem analysis on cost and benefit realization.
Document short‑ and long‑term departmental goals, policies, and procedures.
Ensure site compliance with corporate financial requirements.
Maintain standard processes and procedures.
Participate in strategic IT decisions and ERP implementations.
Support acquisition due diligence, product divestitures, and large projects as needed.
Engage in long‑range planning, play‑to‑win strategies, and annual planning development.
Other Duties : Perform additional duties as required in support of the department and the company.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and manage a team or individual to ensure adequate performance, job satisfaction, and contribution to career goals.
QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in this role, the candidate must satisfy the essential job functions and meet the following requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BA in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
5+ years in the manufacturing industry preferred.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Conversational proficiency in any other language is a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Analyze data for statistical performance, utilize algebraic expressions, and process data through SAP and Microsoft Access databases.
JOB SKILLS
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.
Knowledge of BPC preferred.
Understanding of Value Stream Accounting/lean accounting a plus.
Ability to analyze complex data and reach conclusions independently.
Team player capable of communicating with all organizational levels.
Energetic, assertive individual with high ethical standards.
Competence in participative management, team approaches, and problem‑solving techniques.
Self‑starter able to meet responsibilities with minimum supervision.

SALARY INFORMATION Salary range: $120,000 – $150,000 annually. Additional rewards include merit increases and discretionary annual bonuses.
