This full‑time (35 hrs/wk) role is in‑person with one remote day per week. Standard hours are 9am‑5pm with occasional evening or early morning events required. Cover letter required for consideration.
Location: Boston, MA, United States. Salary Grade: $55,300.00 - $69,700.00.
Essential Functions
Provide administrative oversight of Student Affairs' advising program, including the Academy of Medical Educators (AME) Advising component and the Field Specific Advising (FSA) Program.
Coordinate with Student Affairs Deans, Medical Education Office, IT, and medical departments to assign students to advising cohorts and specialty‑specific advisors.
Maintain accurate databases of student/advisor assignments and manage the FSA database.
Communicate advising information to students and advisors and administer relevant materials and website pages.
Lead meetings and faculty development for advisors and manage the Student Wellness Committee, including event planning and resource management.
Plan and execute major student wellness and community events (e.g., Fall Med Mixer, Annual Medical Student Wellness Fair, Careers in Medicine Wellness Afternoon).
Support pre‑clinical Career Development Sessions within the Personal and Professional Development curriculum, including planning, material creation, assessment, and reporting.
Handle student letter and document requests such as postgraduate documents, recommendation letters, and tuition reimbursement.
Assist with major all‑hands events (White Coat Ceremony, Orientations, Match Day, Awards Ceremony, Graduation) and day‑to‑day office workflow.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related experience.
Administrative proficiency in WordPress, Outlook, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Strong organizational and data management skills.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and plan events with sound judgment and initiative.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; professionalism at all levels.
Interest and experience in higher education and student development/wellness.
