Sidwell Friends School is seeking
track and field assistant coaches
for both the winter and spring track seasons in the 2025-256 school year. The Assistant Coach position will be responsible for assisting the head coach in organizing the Track and Field program, promoting and creating a positive team culture, developing fundamental skills of the game, and enthusiastically participating in running practices as support for the head coach.
Coaches will maintain a high standard of integrity in all aspects of team management, foster a culture that promotes the Quaker values of the school, and intentionally integrate school core values as the framework for coaching. A thoughtful approach, a desire to constantly improve, and innovative thinking will be essential to success.
Qualifications :
At least one (1) year of relevant track and field coaching experience at the high school, club and/or college level.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Campus-based coaching; position requires in-person presence.
Positions Available
Varsity Associate Head Coach – Boys
Varsity Associate Head Coach – Girls
Varsity Assistant Coach – Jumps (High jump, Long Jump, and Triple Jump)
Compensation
Stipend $2,675.00–$12,840.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
