Position Summary The Compliance Analyst assists the Compliance Manager in executing the regulatory Compliance Management System for multiple Bank strategic partners. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance with lending laws and regulations, performing compliance testing and monitoring, reviewing marketing materials and customer‑facing documents, analyzing customer complaints for regulatory trends, and training employees on policies and laws. This role offers unique interaction with cutting‑edge startups and global enterprises while leveraging the Bank’s resources.
Primary Responsibilities
Remain hungry, proactive, competitive and involved.
Perform compliance testing and monitoring.
Review/identify issues and ensure corrective action is taken in a timely fashion.
Review marketing materials and other customer‑facing documents including disclosures and notices.
Monitor customer complaints for regulatory concerns/trends and prepare trend analysis.
Assist with the training of the Company’s employees on policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Remain current on state and federal banking laws. Evaluate new laws to determine their impact on Bank policy and procedures.
Prepare and present clear and concise compliance reports.
Assist with distributing/tracking annual compliance training for bank personnel.
Qualifications
2–4 years of banking compliance experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent on‑the‑job experience.
Experience with commercial and/or consumer lending regulations including UDAP/UDAAP, ECOA/Fair Lending, FCRA/FACTA, TILA (including the CARD ACT), FDCPA, E‑SIGN, MLA, SCRA, EFTA, Reg P/Privacy Laws, BSA/AML and OFAC. Deposit experience is a plus.
Experience with performing compliance risk assessments, audits, monitoring, and testing.
Prior experience working for a fintech, regulator, bank or consumer finance business.
Proactive, self‑starter, capable of productive work both independently and as part of a team, with a desire to learn quickly and take ownership.
Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
Coachable and willing to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
