Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join a leading insurance company's digital transformation initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a critical Salesforce system upgrade, leveraging modern development practices and contributing to the evolution of enterprise-level insurance technology. The ideal candidate will bring deep Salesforce expertise combined with insurance industry knowledge to drive impactful solutions in a dynamic environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
6-7+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience
2-3+ years of experience working within the insurance industry
Strong expertise in Apex programming and development
Proficiency with Aura components
Experience building Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Skilled in developing and implementing Salesforce Flows
Expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud development
Must be willing and able to work onsite in Atlanta 3 days per week
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no visa sponsorship available)
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Pardot (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement)
Background in Salesforce Security development and implementation
Experience with large-scale Salesforce platform transitions and upgrades
Knowledge of insurance‑specific Salesforce configurations and customizations
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect)
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, and Flows
Lead the transition from legacy Aura components to modern Lightning Web Components
Build and optimize automated workflows using Salesforce Flows to improve business processes
Develop and maintain Sales Cloud and Service Cloud functionality tailored to insurance operations
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
Participate in code reviews and maintain high‑quality development standards
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while optimizing system performance
Document technical specifications and development processes
