Hourly Wage Estimate:

Job Summary We are looking for an enthusiastic Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to help us reach our goals. You will perform drug procurement, packaging, patient billing, and all aspects of drug compounding and distribution. You will provide drug information and clinical service to health professionals and patients, supervise Pharmacy Technicians, Interns, Students, and Volunteers, and monitor all aspects of drug therapy in the facility. You will provide services requiring specialized skills and/or age-specific competencies for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients from neonatal through adolescent ages, serving as a patient advocate when planning and implementing pharmaceutical care.
Responsibilities
Perform drug procurement, drug packaging, patient billing, and all aspects of drug compounding and distribution.
Provide drug information and clinical service to health professionals and patients.
Supervise Pharmacy Technicians, Interns, Students, and Volunteers.
Monitor all aspects of drug therapy in the facility.
Provide services that require specialized skills and/or age-specific competencies, including adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients from neonatal through adolescent ages, and act as a patient advocate during planning and implementation of pharmaceutical care.
Qualifications
Current licensure by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy as a registered Pharmacist.
BLS and ACLS required within the first 2 months of employment.
B.S. or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
Minimum of 1 year of hospital clinical pharmacy experience, or at least 2 years of general hospital pharmacy experience, completion of hospital PGY1/ pharmacy general practice residency or fellowship, BCPS certification, or other certification (e.g., FCCP, FASHP).
Previous management or project management experience preferred.
