Summary
In this role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for Vizient’s pharmacy commit programs, including pharmacy aggregation. This role will lead project management, analytics, and pharmacy executive teams, ensuring contracting excellence and measurable client value delivery. You will partner with sourcing leadership and senior executives to execute strategies, achieve budgeted results, and support growth of the Pharmacy Commit portfolio.
Responsibilities
Translate enterprise and pharmacy strategic objectives into actionable goals for commit programs.
Oversee contracting, analytics, and project management initiatives that support member value and revenue.
Manage P&L accountability for commit programs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Lead and develop direct reports.
Partner with sourcing leadership to align contracting and commit strategies.
Serve as executive liaison to key members, supporting renewals and program growth.
Ensure delivery of measurable client outcomes and operational efficiencies.
Lead day-to-day strategy execution and operations of the Commit program.
Support client renewals and program growth.
Influence within business unit and collaborate cross-functionally.
Implement efficiency, process, and automation improvements.
Qualifications
Relevant degree desired; advanced degree preferred (MBA, PharmD, MHA).
10 or more years of experience in contracting, healthcare finance, or related fields with progressive leadership experience required.
Demonstrated experience with P&L or budget responsibility required.
Strong knowledge of contracting, financial modeling, and client value delivery.
Track record of leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $156,500.00 to $290,100.00. This position is also incentive eligible.
