About The Role
As Product Manager – Transportation, you’ll own the roadmap and execution for the technology that powers Veho’s first and middle mile operations. Your charter spans the transportation execution lifecycle—from truck scheduling and dock flow to yard visibility and trailer departure accuracy—with a focus on maximizing on-time performance and operational efficiency at scale.
You’ll define, build, and iterate on features across Veho’s transportation execution stack, including our 3P TMS (Turvo) and YMS‑like systems. You’ll partner closely with cross‑functional teams across Ground Operations, Facilities Tech, Network Orchestration, Data Science, and Engineering to ensure Veho’s trucks, docks, and yards run predictably every day.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Own core workflows that govern first and middle‑mile movements—from load plan creation to truck check‑in, dock assignment, and departure confirmation with real‑time tracking.
Design tools that digitize yard movements, trailer scheduling, and load handoffs, streamlining inbound/outbound flow to reduce dwell and increase trailer turns.
Integrate live truck status, load completion, and departure forecasts into Veho’s WMS to empower operators to proactively identify and resolve risks to on‑time delivery.
Transform ad‑hoc workflows into structured, automated recovery systems for missed departures, late arrivals, and capacity surges.
Equip Ops with data and decision support to hit utilization targets—ensuring >75% utilization without service risk.
Unify siloed tools into a single, intuitive interface that enables self‑service for transportation schedules, ETAs, and trailer assignments.
Build for the end user—load planners, transportation managers, dock managers, and dispatchers—driving adoption through tight feedback loops.
Spend time on‑ground in hubs and spokes, observing loading patterns and translating real‑world bottlenecks into measurable product improvements.

Experience with Transportation or Yard Management Systems (e.g., Turvo, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, project44, FourKites)
Background in carrier, 3PL, or warehouse logistics environments
Experience building tools for transportation field or facility operators
Understanding of load planning

Base Salary: $119‑130k per year depending on experience
