The Epigenetics division is seeking a highly motivated

Biopharma Business Development Manager

to grow its epigenomic lab services business, targeting the biotech and pharmaceutical markets in EMEA. The position requires at least 35% travel and a proactive, commercially focused approach.

What To Expect

Drive business development in the EMEA biotech and pharma landscape by identifying, approaching, and securing new clients while nurturing lasting relationships with existing accounts.

Develop and execute tailored strategies for diverse customer segments, leveraging market intelligence and regulatory insights to inform decision‑making and maximize opportunities.

Lead complex sales negotiations, structure partnership agreements, and close deals, demonstrating a proactive approach and strong results orientation.

Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to scientific and commercial audiences, adapting communication style to engage stakeholders from lab managers to senior executives.

Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Marketing, R&D, Technical Support) to deliver integrated solutions and achieve shared business goals.

Gather, interpret, and report on market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to prioritize high‑value opportunities and inform strategic planning.

Maintain accurate records of prospects, activities, and sales outcomes using CRM tools, preparing regular reports and forecasts for management.

Continuously deepen technical product knowledge (e.g., epigenomic instruments, reagent systems, service offerings) and stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics.

Build credibility and trust through transparent communication, reliable follow‑through, and a relationship‑driven approach with clients and internal teams.

Adapt to evolving market conditions, manage multiple projects with attention to detail, and remain resilient and focused under pressure.

What We Expect

Minimum 5 years’ business development experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on life sciences lab services (preferably within EMEA).

Demonstrable track record of new business generation and sales growth in complex B2B environments.

Advanced degree in life sciences preferred.

Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and strong skills in MS Office.

Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 35% across the EMEA region.
