Position Overview We are currently seeking a Social Worker with a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) degree to join our dynamic team at E‑Therapy. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing social work services to students, families, and school staff, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns to support students' overall well‑being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of students’ mental health, social‑emotional functioning, and behavioral needs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Provide individual and group counseling services focused on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, peer relationships, and family conflict.
Respond to crises within the school setting, including suicide risk assessments, child abuse reporting, and emergency mental‑health support.
Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans, especially addressing emotional, behavioral, and social goals.
Serve as a liaison between school personnel, families, and community agencies to coordinate support and access to resources like mental‑health services, food assistance, or housing.
Develop and implement school‑wide prevention programs and social‑emotional learning (SEL) initiatives aimed at improving school climate and student well‑being.
Provide consultation to teachers and school staff regarding behavioral strategies, trauma‑informed care, and student mental‑health concerns.
Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, interventions, progress, and referrals in accordance with school policies and confidentiality guidelines.
What You Need
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE‑accredited program
Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent (LMSW with supervision may be acceptable depending on state and district)
Experience providing clinical or school‑based social work services to children and adolescents
Strong clinical skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis response
Knowledge of school systems, child development, and evidence‑based interventions
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including educators, psychologists, and administrators
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with electronic record‑keeping systems; experience with telehealth is a plus
