Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Management
Develop, write, and schedule engaging posts for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Create compelling video content — including short-form reels, interviews, and campaign videos.
Design and distribute monthly newsletters and e-blasts using email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar).
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all communication channels.
Monitor social media trends and analytics to refine content performance.
Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns that align with organizational goals.
Contribute creative ideas for fundraising, awareness, and community engagement campaigns.
Track and report on campaign metrics, engagement, and audience growth.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging.
Community Engagement
Interact with followers and supporters through comments, messages, and community posts.
Support event promotion and coverage across social and digital channels.
Cultivate relationships with influencers, community partners, and media outlets.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in social media management, marketing, or content creation.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms and scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, etc.).
Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
Knowledge of email marketing tools and analytics platforms.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
Understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and social media insights.
Passion for storytelling, community engagement, and social impact.
