Job Description
The Manufacturing Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and documenting computer-controlled blending, clean-in-place (CIP), and heat treatment processes.
The role requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and batch procedures, ensuring the production of high-quality products in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
Prepare, operate, monitor, and document computer-controlled blending processes.
Weigh, document, and stage batch ingredients using a computer-controlled weight system.
Operate and monitor computer-controlled clean-in-place (CIP) systems for manufacturing equipment, including tanks and heat treatment systems.
Perform product line operations, including standardization and final water preparation using ingredients, flavors, and oils.
Maintain GMP compliance through routine cleaning of equipment, general work area upkeep, and preventative maintenance.
Follow batch work orders and job procedures while maintaining accurate documentation.
Receive and transport bulk raw ingredients, CIP chemicals, and other materials as required.
Prepare, operate, monitor, and document bulk slurries for blending operations.
Operate and monitor computer-controlled heat treatment processes.
Perform and support other work‑related duties as assigned.
Requirement/Must Have
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Some college or vocational schooling is preferred.
Experience
Prior experience in food manufacturing or similar batch processes, with emphasis on GMP and computer‑controlled systems, is desired.
Skills
Strong written, verbal, computer, and mechanical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work safely in a team environment.
Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, make decisive decisions, and use problem‑solving skills while maintaining product quality and GMP compliance.
