Please note that this is not a homeworking role. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your Nursing or Paramedic experience and to continue to deliver outstanding patient care without the physical demand of acute work. We offer competitive rates, equivalent to band 7 and band 8a. Typically, a Clinical Advisor could earn anywhere between £49,400 to £56,140 full time equivalent of 37.5 hours per week. You\`ll receive: Pay: £24.47 per hour (7am-11pm) and £27.83 per hour (11pm-7am), with further pay enhancements of £30.60 per hour when working between Friday 18:00 to Monday 7:00am. The weekend rate is guaranteed but not contractual. What your typical day looks like Work with patients providing telephone triage using the NHS Pathways systems 111 calls vary; you will receive support from software systems and your team Set shift patterns so you know when you\`ll be working Coaching, mentoring and development plans to support career aspirations You\`ll be trained on NHS Pathways systems, with a recognisable licence on completion of training. Two training options are: Full-Time Monday-Friday (9am-5pm) for 4 weeks Part-Time Tues, Weds, Thurs (6pm-9.30pm) and Sat-Sun (9am-5pm) for 5 weeks You must be able to attend every training day . This is followed by eight weeks of support before you can be signed off to work independently. About us
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: Good level of education Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Experience with IT and telephony supported applications, programming call flows and maintaining agent skill sets Understanding of call centre metrics and resource planning methods Experience managing large teams within a high-volume, process-oriented call centre or Urgent Care environment Excellent people management and performance management skills Professional and driven, yet communicative and approachable We are looking for: UK Registered Nurse (NMC) or Paramedic (HCPC) with relevant post-registration acute Primary Care experience Excellent listening and communication skills, with good IT and keyboard skills A passion for providing outstanding patient care and commitment to continuous learning within a well-structured, well-supported team Job description & responsibilities
