The Role

The Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. The role works alongside the Community Manager to oversee staff and vendors, ensuring the maintenance of the property while delivering quality move‑in, timely service, superb curb appeal, and personal attention to our residents and their homes.

The Incumbent

The incumbent must possess a high degree of professionalism and positive engagement for our residents and the workforce.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience. One year of supervisory experience required. Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work. HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired. Valid driver’s license. Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities. Solid interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be available for on‑call and weekend work.

Key Accountabilities Resident Relations : Treat residents and others with respect, answer questions, respond sensitively to complaints, and ensure follow‑through on work orders. Maintenance Management : Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests, maintain common‑area and unit repairs, and manage preventive maintenance programs. Staff Leadership : Set performance goals, train and schedule maintenance staff, monitor progress, and provide input on performance evaluations. Enforce community policies, maintain safety programs, and comply with Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and other industry laws.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Frequent standing and walking. Occasional squatting, bending neck/waist, twisting, pushing, and pulling. May be required to travel to sister communities. Report to work during inclement weather conditions.
