Project Manager

As Project Manager within our Data & Analytics team, you play an instrumental role in the realization of this vision by managing a number of projects related to the delivery of our data & analytics platforms, data assets and data products.

Key responsibilities

Lead project delivery from beginning to end;

Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders;

Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents following the company’s standard;

Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary as per defined process;

Ensure that project meets its deliverables in agreed schedule, as per the scope, within stipulated budget and as per the quality standards;

Effectively communicate project expectations to team lead and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion;

Ensure project or service scope and deliverables are defined and agreed with all relevant parties;

Liaise with business and IT Teams on an ongoing basis;

Diagnose and evaluate potential risks and issues throughout the project and execute appropriate plans to mitigate them. Reports regularly to the Team Lead and Stakeholders with regard to risks

You have experience in delivering Data & Analytics deliverables (building data platform, ingestion of data assets, reporting, data science, data exploration, AI/ML,

Knowledge of the Azure data stack and SAP and BW4 is a plus

Knowledge of train planning, passenger transport, train maintenance, HR, Finance, Marketing & Sales processes is a plus

Knowledge of ESG and CSRD is a plus

management and ability to overcome ambiguously or under-defined problems

You have knowledge of Agile delivery methodology and SAFe (Essentials) are a must.

You have a Project Methodology certification (PM² and/or PMBOK).

You have ITIL knowledge.

You have experience managing IT projects in the data & analytics area (managing scope, planning, budget and quality)

You have experience applying ITIL processes

You can facilitate Steerco, project update meetings and guide resources.

You have the ability to communicate, present and produce documentation on various levels for differing audiences

Conformity criteria

You have 15+ years experience with project management

You have 10+ years experience in delivery of projects in the Data & Analytics area

You have 2+ years experience in the rail passenger transportation sector

You communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English (spoken and written). Dutch or French as a mother tongue or at least C level. Other language at least B2. English B2.

You can physically come to Ypto offices min 2d per week

You have an active Project Management certification (PM² and/or PMBOK).

You have a Lean Six Sigma certification.

You have legal authorisation to work in Belgium.
