Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery
$2,625 per week
Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) assignment in Portland, Oregon at a children’s hospital. Night shifts (12 hours) during a 13‑week assignment. Requires labor and delivery nursing experience and required certifications.

Hours: 36 per week (12‑hour shifts)
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,050 – $2,190

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years recent labor and delivery RN experience
Prior travel nursing experience required
Active Oregon RN license or proof of application
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and advanced fetal monitoring (AFA or RELAIS) certifications
EPIC charting experience required
MFTI certification preferred
Ability to float within the hospital and across the health system
Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
No felony background
Recent reference from Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Nurse Manager (within last year)
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to high‑and low‑risk obstetrical patients
Serve labor and postpartum units (including labor beds, triage, OR, and postpartum beds)
Assist with high‑risk deliveries, C‑sections, and obstetrical triage
Perform procedures such as amnioinfusion, amniocentesis, sterile speculum exams, forceps/vacuum extraction, and spiral electrode placement
Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns using EFM and IUPC
Conduct reflex checks, edema assessments, and clonus evaluations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, radiology, social services)
Complete required education and EPIC modules within one week of start
Float to other units as requested
