Job Summary and Qualifications The Cardiac Cath Lab RN is responsible for assisting the Cardiologist in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
What will you do in this role
Will assess, manage and provide patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab
Responsible for circulating, monitoring and recording hemodynamic values as well as for the abstraction and entering of data, according to agency requirements
Complete physician orders and administer prescribed medications
Provide patient education and transport patients in a timely manner
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Nurse
Current Indiana State Board of Nursing or compact state RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
One year of Cath Lab experience preferred
Computer skills and advanced experience with MS Word and Excel
