Position Details
Start date: ASAP for the 2025‑2026 school year
Hours: Part time
Grade levels: K‑12
Compensation: Starting at $48/hour (commensurate with experience)
Location: 100% Remote
License: Licensed active MI Speech‑Language Pathologist

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities.
Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and student needs.
Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational team members to support communication goals in the classroom and other settings.
Incorporate evidence‑based techniques and therapeutic activities into sessions to promote development.
Monitor progress and adjust plans to facilitate optimal outcomes.
Document sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding speech and language needs.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
Experience providing speech‑language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech‑language pathology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred).
Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology used in therapy (preferred).
