Senior Business Operations Manager & Cloud Recruiter at Bowman Williams We are a leading Managed and Cloud Services Provider with more than two decades of experience helping clients leverage technology to achieve measurable business results. Our focus is on delivering reliable, high-performance IT environments with exceptional service and long-term client relationships.
We are seeking a System Administrator Tier 2.5 who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is a confident, service-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with clients, and providing top-tier support in fast-paced environments.
What You Will Do
Act as a technical escalation point for advanced client issues
Build and support technology solutions that align with client business needs
Diagnose and resolve escalated tickets involving servers, networks, and cloud platforms
Configure, deploy, and support Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID environments
Implement and manage security tools including Intune, Sentinel, Purview, CrowdStrike, and Proofpoint
Manage and support LAN/WAN infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls (Fortinet preferred)
Utilize ConnectWise, HaloITSM, and IT Glue for ticketing, monitoring, and documentation
Maintain proactive client communication and deliver exceptional customer service
What You Bring
Proven experience working in a Managed Services Provider or IT consulting environment
Expertise in Microsoft 365 (Business Premium, E3, E5), Teams, Entra ID, and Intune
Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, virtualization (VMware or Hyper‑V), and endpoint management
Experience with security and monitoring tools such as Sentinel, JAMF, CrowdStrike, and Purview
Proficiency with networking and firewalls (Fortinet experience a plus)
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
A proactive, professional approach with a focus on client satisfaction
