About This Role The email development role is referred to in Stitch as the Technical Producer role. You will consult alongside other Stitchers on our Delivery team, including Solution Architects, Business Strategists, and Marketing Strategists, to deliver top‑tier marketing solutions centered around Braze for our clients. You will code and document innovative email solutions that leverage automation, dynamic content, data‑driven segmentation, and other advanced capabilities to drive higher engagement and response rates. You'll also collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support Braze implementations and meet regularly with clients to discuss solutions and best practices. This role requires a unique combination of development expertise and strong presentation skills.

What You’ll Do
Craft mobile‑responsive email campaigns using HTML, CSS, and dynamic scripting languages (like Handlebars and Liquid)
Partner with Solution Architects and Strategists to execute seamless Braze implementations that connect data, creativity, and strategy
Prepare Photoshop files, slicing and resizing images as needed
Translate templating languages such as Handlebars and Ampscript to Liquid
Create detailed campaign documentation, including customized work instructions tailored to each client
Perform thorough quality assurance on all emails developed to ensure the best deliverable for clients
Support work in external platforms based on client needs
Prepare for new accounts and meetings by researching scope and client context
Lead discovery, solutioning, best practices, and change management within client accounts
Enrich relationships by meeting commitments, delivering insights, and recommending solutions
Share new ideas and solution write‑ups with other Technical Producers during projects or office hours
Maintain effective communication with clients regarding revisions and production matters
Manage time to achieve quarterly billable hour targets
Stay informed about Braze and partner technologies, earning and maintaining a minimum of two Braze certifications, including the Braze Marketer certification
Occasionally travel, up to 20%, to client sites to participate in strategic discussions
Perform additional duties as assigned
What Does Success Look Like In This Role?
Code visually appealing emails that are thoroughly QA’d by yourself or another Stitcher
Be an amazing consultant, confidently meeting with clients and providing a strong point of view on best practices and creative solutions
Show up to every meeting prepared, engaged, and responsive with a sense of urgency
Consistently meet deadlines, ensuring client satisfaction and enabling punctual delivery of dependent work
Manage weekly schedule effectively to meet Stitch's quarterly billable targets while juggling coding, meetings, office hours, certifications, and time‑tracking
Requirements
5+ years of experience in email development
Strong knowledge of marketing technology platforms
Experience implementing or integrating platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, Liquid, Segments, and Catalogs
Ability to translate templating languages like Handlebars and Ampscript to Liquid
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and concepts
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
2 or more Braze Certifications (including the Braze Marketer certification) or the ability to obtain them quickly
Bonus points for experience in email design
Ability to travel up to 20% to client sites
Availability to travel to Stitch's headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana during the first week for onboarding
Legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada without requiring employer sponsorship, both presently and in the future
