Reliability Tech B3
Shaw Industries is looking for a Reliability Tech B3 to maintain and ensure the capacity of equipment assets in assigned areas that impact optimal efficiencies at the lowest reasonable cost while achieving the highest reliability. This role combines the Technician Electrician 3 and Reliability Technician B responsibilities to support Plant SI.
Primary Responsibilities
Support manufacturing processes by troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment including electrical components, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, compressors, chillers, and boilers.
Complete preventive maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Clearly communicate all relevant information to the appropriate teams.
Observe all safety precautions and standards.
Display a positive attitude, initiative, and a desire to continuously improve.
Troubleshoot and execute repairs of equipment causing safety, quality, downtime, or productivity issues.
Maintain and troubleshoot RGVs/LGVs and other automated material handling equipment.
Primary Requirements
Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical/mechanical schematics, block diagrams, and flow charts.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Strong computer skills.
Ability to identify and diagnose problems and implement corrective action.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with production staff.
Flexible work schedule to include overtime as applicable.
Industrial welding experience (a plus).
Experience in a highly automated facility (a plus).
Experience working on winding equipment (a plus).
Ability to program PLCs and understand the manufacturing processes they accompany.
