Job Description
Pay Range:
$84.30/hr – $91.30/hr
The Senior Commercial Analytics Specialist will be responsible for conducting advanced analytics to support brand planning, promotional resource allocation, and the evolution of commercial models.
This role will serve as a liaison between Marketing and Sales to ensure the integration of marketing strategies into effective sales force and digital engagement plans.
Responsibilities
Conduct advanced analytics in support of brand planning and promotional resource allocation across customer channels, including digital.
Liaise between Marketing and Sales in developing business tactics and strategies.
Execute departmental procedures and collaborate across teams to integrate marketing strategies into delivered sales force call plans for both in-person and virtual channels.
Communicate analytical results effectively to internal customers to drive business impact.
Build and share knowledge of analytical methodologies and high-quality vendors, including third-party digital agencies.
Establish efficient work habits to support the evolving needs of the therapeutic business function.
Requirement / Must Have
Bachelor’s degree with seven (7) years of analytical experience with relevant data sources and methodologies, or Master’s degree with five (5) years of relevant experience.
Proven experience analyzing large, de-identified patient claims datasets.
Experience within large pharmaceutical manufacturers strongly preferred.
Strong proficiency in developing, documenting, and communicating analytical plans.
Expertise in advanced analytical techniques, including multivariate and promotional responsiveness analysis.
Experience conducting digital analytics for non-personal marketing tactics such as email, banner, mobile, and alerts.
Ability to analyze in-campaign performance and deliver actionable insights.
Proven track record in integrating insights from multiple sources, including marketing research and forecasts.
Should Have
Experience in metabolic therapeutic areas such as CardioRenal Metabolic (e.g., Chronic Kidney and Heart Failure) preferred.
Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, and SQL for data extraction and analysis.
Experience with Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualification And Education
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related discipline.
