Solar Electrician

Remote and on‑site position based in Raleigh, NC with up to 25% travel to North Carolina and South Carolina. This role requires at least one week of out‑of‑town work each month.
This is a temporary position with guaranteed employment through December 31 2025.
Duties
Participate in the physical installation of residential solar electrical equipment and battery backup systems.
Full understanding and conceptual knowledge of single‑line electrical plans.
Read and install electrical equipment in accordance with plan sets.
Run conduit exterior and interior.
Run NM wiring in crawl spaces/attics.
Work in electrical panels, including landing breakers and moving existing breakers.
Install solar inverters (able to lift at least 50 lb).
Install battery backup systems (Tesla PowerWall and Generac PWRCell); first installer on all new products, completing required manufacturer training courses as needed.
Review residential and commercial electrical plan sets for errors and correct information.
Qualifications
OSHA 10 certification (preferred before hire but required before starting).
General construction knowledge and or experience; ability to use hand tools (drill, saw, driver).
Ability to work at high heights using a safety harness, outdoors, in attics, and crawl spaces under extreme conditions.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions in North Carolina.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lb.
Excellent communication and team‑working skills.
Experience installing solar and battery systems required.
