Licensed Athletic Trainer / Work Strategies Specialist
Full Time
Hours: 40 hour/week full time salary; hours exceeding 40 hours a week for event coverage are paid at our hourly rate. Starting salary $56,326.40 for 0 years of experience. Salary commensurate with years of licensed or BOC experience.

Responsibilities
Deliver athletic training services in coordination with physicians and outpatient physical therapists as part of pre and post injury care plans.
Deliver WorkStrategies prevention services at assigned locations. Services include:
WorkStrategies OnSite program
Advanced Early Symptom Intervention
New Hire Training and Return to Work
Movement Assessments
Preventative exercise prescription
Body mechanics/behavior audits
Wellness coaching
WorkRisk, WorkTask, and WorkStation Analysis
Worksite Education programs
Prepare and complete appropriate documentation for services listed above.
Facilitate regular communication with clients to assist with relationship development and program review.
Assist in addressing client concerns.
Facilitate regular communication with market leadership for reporting WorkStrategies Prevention activity.
Participate in continuing education and job training programs.
Travel may be required.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Required Skills & Abilities
Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, exercise physiology, and kinesiology or biomechanics.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of WorkStrategies prevention product line, specifically OnSite Services.
Demonstrated ability to provide clinical teaching and in‑services.
Strong customer service orientation.
Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous projects, issues, and timelines.
Reporting and documentation skills with ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle multiple meetings and client contacts per day.
Working knowledge of national/regional ergonomic regulations, occupational health care, and payor mechanisms.
Proficiency in Windows‑based office technologies (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to function independently in the field.
Subject to limitations imposed by state/local/federal law.
Qualifications
State of TX Athletic Trainer license required or eligible for state licensure as AT.
BS Degree required.
At least 3 years experience in public safety, military, high‑level athletics, or industrial setting required.
BOC certified preferred.
American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification required and offered complimentary by BSW Rehab.
