Human Resources Manager

on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer with a proud legacy of craftsmanship and operational excellence. This hands‑on HR leader will oversee all aspects of human resources at the company’s manufacturing facility north of Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate is an experienced, people‑first professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and takes pride in supporting employees who build world‑class products.

As part of the site leadership team, the HR Manager will drive initiatives across employee relations, engagement, development, and compliance—building a strong culture and ensuring a positive employee experience that aligns with company values.

What You’ll Do

Serve as a strategic partner to site leadership, aligning HR strategy with business goals.

Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to retention and engagement.

Lead and develop a small, high‑performing HR team focused on talent development, succession planning, and performance management.

Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance, employee relations, and conflict resolution.

Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across hiring, development, and advancement.

Implement training and engagement programs that strengthen culture and retention.

Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety standards, and company policies.

Use data and analytics to inform workforce planning and strategic HR decision‑making.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior HR leadership experience within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build trust and influence across all levels.

Solid understanding of HR best practices, compliance, and employment law.

Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and data‑driven decision making.

Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP) a plus.
